5th FRAME research
PERFORMANCES AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES 2014
The 5th FRAME research – Performance and New Technologies, it’s an initiative of Fábrica de Movimentos, and look to promote and divulgate works based on the crossing of movement and multimedia. The submissions can be: dance videos, dance movies, documentary, vídeoart, installation, live performances, workshops, lectures,, digital works, and every work that promotes the crossing of languages between movement and multimedia. It’s a non-commercial and non-competitive event.
Dates and Venue
The FRAME will take place on Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis and Axa Building (Oporto city), between 18th and 23th November.2014.
Selection
The selection will be under responsibility of artistic direction of the Promoter.
Content Projects
Any purpose will be considered, as long it’s based on the interaction between movement and multimedia.
Will be accepted proposals of installation, performances, video-installation, multimedia projects, virtual projects, personal TV, dance-vídeo, and/or, projects in creation process.

Continuous sessions, 28th May (wednesday), 29th (Thursday) and 31th (Saturday) start at 2pm / finish at 6pm.
General Conditions

The length of dance-vídeo proposals must be 30 minutes, maximum;

The works can be, preferential, originals (never presented at the dates), or made on the last 03 years, but never presented on this Festival; can be sent by artist from any creative area (dance, video, cine, visual arts, painting, photography, theatre, …).

All works must have: identification of the work, author’s and others artists identification, short briefing about the work, photos, and other material can be useful for program and promotion. Also, a letter giving the permission/rights to present the work on the Festival.

Fábrica de Movimentos, as a promoter of the Festival, holds the right of divulgation to promote the works present on that;

All videos will be available à La Carte

The selected works will became part of our archive, and will be available to be shown just as educational purposes, and will not have any payment for this exhibition. Works on different medias could be accepted as donation. A contract will be celebrated between the artist and the promoter celebrating the donation. The promoter will be allowed to exhibit the work referring the name of the artist, context of the exhibition and the donation.
Any other further events from Fábrica de Movimentos, where the works must be shown, the author (or responsible for the work), must provide a letter to Fábrica de Movimentos giving the rights to be shown, as well must have an accordance about the payment (if refering any payment)to be made for the exhibition, and the author/director must sent a valid invoice for that. -
The jury’s decisions are irreversible;
Prizes
The jury will give a Certificate to all the selected artists.
Inscriptions
The deadline to send works will be 30.09.2014, with a Subscription Form. Every work must have their Subscription Form filled.

Once an artist submits your work to the Festival, automatically accept this rules.
